Artist Statement and Biography:  I have always liked things that work or represent work.  I prefer the tug boat over the yacht, the truck over the car.  Warren and Trumbull County have much heritage of which we can be proud.

 

David Hammond resides in Diamond, Ohio, with his wife of 42 years.  Together they have two daughters, one grandson and one granddaughter.  He has been employed with Sprint/Embarq for 38 years and for the past ten years he has operated his own business framing, painting murals and special commissions.  His work has been entered into a number of area shows and he as won numerous awards and prizes.

The statue measurements are approximately 6 feet tall by 8 feet, 6 inches long. These are works of art and some statues are meant to be displayed out of the elements.
