Artist Statement and Biography: I researched Warren's past and was inspired to create a piece that reflected the passage of time. In my piece, time is reflected with color. The past is emphasized in black and white with color emerging as it comes into the future. The top of my piece shows the day sky fading into night, just as every one of our days fades into the night and repeats itself to create our past.

 

Lauryn Gintert earned her BFA in art education from Kent State University. She has exhibited work and volunteered at Trumbull Art Gallery. She is the co-owner of Twin Designs with her sister Lindsey.

The statue measurements are approximately 6 feet tall by 8 feet, 6 inches long. These are works of art and some statues are meant to be displayed out of the elements.
