Artist Statement and Biography: My goddess is draped in the American flag to represent pride and ingenuity. The "donut" resembles the Packard hexagon emblem. The front of the base replicates the front end of a 1932 Packard. The back depicts milestones in the evolution of the Packard Motor Car Company. My intention is to pique interest and educate the viewer about the Packard brothers' concepts and contributions.

 

After 25 years of marriage and raising three children, Mari Ann Cann returned to work and school. She enrolled in a painting class and discovered she had natural talent. Mari Ann entered her first art show in 2006 and earned an honorable mention. It is her intention to create emotion on canvas with depth and texture.

The statue measurements are approximately 6 feet tall by 8 feet, 6 inches long. These are works of art and some statues are meant to be displayed out of the elements.
