Buffalo Hunt and Teepees.

Colored pencil ledger drawing. 7 1/4 x 10 3/4 in. (184 x 273 mm). Sheet Size: 7 1/2 x 12 1/16 in. (190 x 306 mm). The consignor inherited the drawings from his father, who was in the medical corps during WWII. He was on a hospital type troop train that transported wounded soldiers across the US, going through the Midwest. At a number of stops along the route the Native Americans would offer the drawings for sale, and that is where his father acquired them. We catalogue them as 19th/20th Century because they could be 19th century, but we don't warrant that. We do warrant they are pre-1945 for sure.
