Redware Shaving Basin, 18th century, molded round formed basin with cut out to wide flared rim for chin, hanger hole on back, polychrome sgraffito decorated, crème glaze ground with floral banding to rim, interior of bowl is profile of man in period attire dated "1787", back marbleized in orange, green, brown and crème banding, (chips to rim and glaze and wear to surface), 3" h. x 9" dia.
