1970 GI JOE ASTRONAUT ACTION TOY

This fascinating, vintage toy depicts GI Joe in his spacesuit . His oxygen tank, metal detector and other equipment are included, but loose. ALSO included are 1) 'The Adventures of GI Joe, No. 8, Hidden Missile Adventure'. A small color 16pp. booklet like a comic book telling the story of the adventure, 2) the original instruction booklet telling how to put GI Joe together and 3) a portion of the box cover showing GI Joe in action. The toy appears to be in like-new condition. Extremely rare and the first toy of this type we have seen.
