Rare Pair of Laminated Walnut Renaissance Revival Curved-Back Armchairs, probably Philadelphia, third quarter 19th century, each with a pierced and carved back, raised on cabriole legs, h. 32". The style and thickness of the laminations of these chairs relate strongly to a group of furniture that has been attributed to the workshop of George Henkels, Philadelphia.
