ROOKWOOD EWER. Impressed "Rookwood 1885" and artist signed by "Matt A. Daly" (1860-1937, also worked for Matt Morgan Pottery). Form 101C with an interesting matte pale blue and yellow glaze that has an overall sheen on the base as well as iridescent lavender "smudges". Tooled gilt neck. Painted sparrows in pine branches. Slight rub on the rim and a small flake on the table ring. 11 3/8"h.
