EMPIRE FOUR-DRAWER CHEST WITH APPLIED AND PAINTED DECORATIONS. Cherry with an old dark finish and black and yellow paint. Large turned feet with applied half turnings around the base and a crosshatched panel at the center. Half turned pilasters. Dovetailed drawers have a paint simulated diamond inlay around the borders that has darkened and old glass pulls (one is chipped). Paneled ends with a single board top. 40"w. 20 1/4"d. 47"h.
