Porcelain Plaque of an Officers' Ball, Imperial Porcelain Manufactory, Period of Nicholas I, dated 1838, finely painted. Based on an original work by Adolphe Ladurner. Signed lower right 'N. Sesliavin 1838' in Cyrillic, and lower left 'Ladurner' in Latin characters. Held in wooden frame. 11 3/8 x 15 3/8 in. (29 x 39 cm.). Imperial porcelain manufactory hallmark on verso.
