Dan Spiegle, Hopalong Cassidy Sunday, 7/29/51, 15"x12". Dan Spiegle was the artist personally chosen by William Boyd to produce the Sunday and daily Hopalong Cassidy strips for newspapers in the early 1950s. These originals are very rare because the actual originals were cut apart and reassembled for Hopalong Cassidy comic books. This page, featuring the three main characters, appeared first as a Sunday page and was used again for Hopalong Cassidy #9.
