US "REG: INFANTRY" PAINT DECORATED DRUM, IN PART, being approximately the upper two thirds of a bentwood shell joined by brass tacks, interior retains upper rim band and a faded maker's mark. The "U.S." in the banner has been erased which indicates possible usage by a Confederate unit. Mid 19th century. 8" h, 16" dia.
