CIVIL WAR PHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGES SURROUNDING "IN MEMORIAM" STEEL ENGRAVING, 22 oval CDV-style images, most of which appear to be Confederate soldiers, mounted on card stock and surrounding the central steel engraving published by The National Photograph Co. and dated 1867. Earlier gilded frame. Newer tag attached to reverse indicates that the soldiers were from Hopewell, VA. Third quarter 19th century. 21 1/2" x 17 1/2" sight.
