CONFEDERATE / MILITIA VIRGINIA STATE SEAL UNIFORM BUTTONS, LOT OF FIVE, low convex and convex two-piece, consisting of two cuff and three coat-size, various raised-sword issues, backmarks include Benedict & Burnham with most of original silver plating intact, W. H. Horstmann & Co. with traces of silver plating, two Scovills & Co., and Y. Smith & Co., each with original shank. Mid 19th century. 14mm, 15mm, 22mm, and 23mm.

Excellent non-excavated condition, first with detached back within shell, remainder with minor spotting and light wear
