Plastic dolls covered in fabric - decorated with sequins. Both: 11" w x 18" h x 9" long. Provenance: The Ruth West Collection. Est. $700 - $1,00. Ship: $35 Pierrot Barra was a visionary constructor of Voodou Icons. He died in 1999 at the age of 57. Tragically, many of his sculptures were destroyed when religious fanatics looted the Museum of Port-au-Prince and fed them to a bonfire on the day after Jean-Bertrand Aristide fled Haiti in 2004.
