V.I.P. Magazine Original Artwork Bill Utterback

Joan Rivers Caricature, Fall 1973 Original artwork, mixed media on board, being a caricature of Joan Rivers, having affixed tracing paper with handwritten notations, approximately 15 by 20 inches, wrinkling throughout, losses to right edge of tablet and tracing paper, overall excellent condition. This piece of original artwork was prepared for V.I.P. magazine. In the 1960's and 1970's, Playboy published V.I.P. (Very Important Playboys) as a way of keeping members of the Playboy Club informed about all things Playboy. In particular, the magazine let members know which entertainers were due to perform at the clubs. See Illustration
