Condition/Details: Bound in marbled crimson boards complete with its original dustjacket, this vintage volume is a "painless book about jazz" by Condon, a jazz banjoist and journalist. The work includes writings from many other major music writers. The book is signed and inscribed by Eddie Condon and Richard Gehman on the front free endpaper. The book includes a form letter from Dial Press to a book reviewer. The volume shows light external wear, and is solidly bound with clean pages, unmarred pages.
