Rare Roseville Decorated Matte 468-7" jardiniere, signed in slip by the artist near the base. Marked only with an impressed 8. There are a few small glaze flakes to the design, some touched-up color and three short, tight age lines at the rim. 8 3/4" wide by 6 1/8" tall. Provenance: Gordon & Sue Hoppe Collection. Pictured: Introducing Roseville Pottery by Mark Bassett, p. 107. While this piece is cited in Bassett as 468-6", it is more accurately a 468-7" as it has a 6 3/4" opening.
