9' Payne Model #208 Heavy Trout Rod

9' Payne Model #208 Heavy Trout Rod. This restored rod is in excellent condition. The wraps are brown and tipped red. Fancy signature wraps have been added. The original guides, including the agate stripper, were reused and the ferrules reblued. The screw up locking reel seat has a walnut spacer and has the stamping: "Sold By Clapp & Treat Co., Hartford, CT." The butt cap is detachable, but no extra handle accompanies this rod. All sections are full and straight. Original bag with tag and Leonard tube.
