Early 9' Payne Model 208-L-H Fly Rod

Early 9' Payne Model 208-L-H Trout Rod. This 6oz, 3/2 rod is in excellent, professionally restored condition, with the correct brown silk wraps, re-blued ferrules, butt cap and sliding band. The handle has the narrow 1/4" cork rings with a few showing light ridging. The original guides were saved during the restoration, including the agate stripper. Only one tip is 1" short. The ferrules are tight. All sections are full and straight. The butt cap carries the early "E.F. Payne…" and "Sold By Abercrombie & Fitch" stamping. With original bag with tag and replacement Leonard tube.
