Pre Civil War embossed leather band. Decoration includes a spread wing eagle with arrows and olive brance holding in it's beak. A banner which reads "Liberty or Death". Other embossed designs include cannon, ship, sword, bugle, horn, drum, muskets, pistols, American flag with 13 stars, etc., Leather is a bit dry. Possibly a decoration from a headdress or other garment. Approximately 13" long x 3" tall.
