DESCRIPTION: Vellum deed with attached wax seal conveying land in Hanover Township, Lancaster (now Lebanon) County from Thomas and Richard Penn (sons of William Penn) to Brace Ennis. Dated 1746 and bearing the signature of James Hamilton (founder of the town, now city, of Lancaster). MEASUREMENTS: 30" x 10-1/2". CONDITION: Expected folds with minor losses, toning and speckling, mild fading of text. Deed is generally very good. Wax seal is fragmentary.
