MAGNIFICENT 41" ALABASTER LAMP ART NOUVEAU, 1927

Signed on reverse "Prof Cantin Gallery Razzanti? Florence 1927" Depicting a robed lady with a green stained cloak detailed with carved flowers standing next to a column supporting a mushroom shade etched with Venetian scenes. Good condition overall with the usual lines and fissures associated with alabaster. Loss to her hair comb and a rim of decoration on the post, old fracture to one corner just above the base. The shade shows a series of lines and discoloration at the very top from the heat of a light bulb. The overallheight is 41 inches high, the lady is 26 inches high, base is 9 x 12, dome shade is 11.5 inches diameter. We will be posting more images. We have a new camera and cannot get the right quality without a bit of a struggle.
