(American Double/Triple deckers) The following 7 literary sets are all bound in their period binding, mostly leather except for Journal of Butler, which is in period cloth with paper spine labels. Most or all have various lib markings, including 4 vols with 3s on spines and most have paper labels at tops of spines. The following titles have not been collated but all appear to be complete. Phila, Hickman & Hazzard, 1821, p 133 of vol. 1 loose and approx bottom 1/3 of text missing. 2 vols; Scot, Sir Walter. THE FORTUNES OF NIGEL. NY, 1822. Bottom half of t.p. of volume 1 is lacking. Pub same year as first. 2 vols. (15 vols, all of which show signs of distress, inc several boards detached and several spines loose. Should be seen).
