(Christian Bomberger deed) Thomas John and Richard Penn deed dated Nov 12, 1771, for a land grant to Christian Bomberger for a tract of 548 acres along Chiccusatongo Creek in Lancaster County. With wax great seal (broken into several pieces) attached via ribbon and signed (secretarial?) by Richard Penn beneath the ribbon and signed by the Recorder of Deeds. The entire document is written in manuscript on vellum. There is a large slice into the doc at upper left extending approx 6" into text. Folded three times.
