Bound in full green decorated publisher's cloth. overall clean and tight, but the text block is separated from the binding; together with LADY'S ALMANAC FOR 1856. Boston, John Jewett. 124pp, 32mo, with 18pp illustrated ads, incl. the endpapers preceding and following the text block. Bound in full, gilt, and blind-stamped publisher's cloth. This pocket sized diary also acted as an almanac, a directory, a receipt-book and much more. Binding worn and rubbed. Contents toned, slightly stained, and with minor chips and tears.
