made in Groton, CT before 1938, serial # 34267 stamped on stick, nickel plated hardware, mother-of-pearl inlay on fingerboard, engraved B&D Special II celluloid overlay on peghead. With period rectangular homemade wooden case. - Heavyplay wear on all contact points, finish rough on resonator, needs bridge, tailpiece. Overall attractive and in good condition. Condition reportDents at the frets, however the disappear at the 5th.
