Vintage Gibson Trap Door Banjo-Ukelele,
ca. mid-1920s, no serial #, "PAT APPLIED FOR" on metal pot stick, maple rim, back and neck, bound resonator, snakehead model with silk screened "The Gibson" logo, pearl position dots on fingerboard.A very scarce precursor to conventional resonator instruments. Does not come with case. - Fresh from a NC estate and all original. - Resonator does not spring open, else very good condition.
