Candee to be admitted to what later became Barnum & Bailey's circus, handwritten on printed card Candee used as editor of the Bridgeport Standard (Bridgeport, CT). Ink inscription in Barnum's hand: ''Pass for Candee & Friends P.T. Barnum and for all times P. T. Barnum.'' Some slight smears to inscription. Other ephemera laid in pertain mostly to Candee.
