Number ''39'' upper right of map, from The London Atlas Of Universal Geography. Hand-colored in outline. Texas is drawn as a territory separate from the United States, its extends to Rio Grande along the full length of the river, with a small portion of the Republic's territory extending northwest from the Rio Grande's headwaters into what is now Wyoming. California and the southwest is viewed as part of ''Mexico.'' Portion of upper and lower margins trimmed (uneven margins), else very good condition.
