World atlas with 37 detailed, attractive contemporary hand-colored double-page engraved plates (inlcludes 1 geometry plate). Mapmakers include Johann Matthias Haas, Tobias Majero, Johann Cristophe Harenberg, and others. Each map previously published by th Binding worn. Slightly uneven trimming of bound maps affecting border of only one map. Scattered foxing, mostly to margins, sheet edges lightly worn and with occasional short tears, few vertical creases, dampstain to image of 2 maps and lower margin of some maps, 7 maps with short tears bearly visible from image side were carefully repaired on verso with early archival tape. Title page with list of maps does not carry a publisher's imprint and looks like a hand-lettered engraved plate.
