Bucksport, ME, The Bucksport Bank, $100, India Paper Proof, Choice.
Haxby ME-235-G18 SENC. PRF-R5. Listed as SENC in Haxby. This is the first $100 proof from this Maine community we have handled. A very attractive design by Bald, Adams, & Co. with Indian family in canoe and frontiersman at the left. This also does not have a tint plate. There is a very faint handling side fold but the paper is perfect and the ABN stamp quite light. Premium quality for the issue and a the desirable highest denomination.
