FRAMED ROYAL VIENNA HP PLATE

Hand painted plate of a classical beauty in a garden with enameled latticework over multi colored flowers is signed by the artist "F. Vogl" in the lower right. It measures 10 1/4" in diameter and is set into a gold frame shadow box style. There is a taupe colored velvet mat around the plate with four filigree brass "flower" fittings to hold it in place. Frame measures 16 3/4" square. Plate is marked with the Royal Vienna "Beehive" mark over the glaze, there is s KPM type sceptre mark that is underglaze but has been overpainted. It also is marked "Depose Lehmen 627" and has the mark of a crown over castle with "B.P.M." beneath, and eight pointed star. With only one tiny scratch, this framed plate is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Exceptional quality piece.
