SIGNED JOHN RICHARDSON, WINCHESTER, VA COPPER TEAKETTLE, 8-quart size, dovetailed body with applied goose-neck spout and wide bail handle boldly stamped "RICHARDSON." and "WINCHESTER, VA.", lid with rolled-band finial is a well-done replacement.. Note: An extremely rare and desirable signed Virginia kettle. MESDA records Richardson as a copper and tinsmith working in Winchester from 1809 to 1826.
Excellent condition with expected light denting to body, deposits to interior.
