This exquisite estate triple strand necklace features 220 white baroque saltwater pearls and an elegant 14KW pearl and diamond clasp (five pearls one 0.20ct old European cut diamond and four 0.04ct old European cut diamonds). A random sampling of the pearls by the GIA lab show the majority to be naturally formed (Pinctada species) which is extraordinarily rare. The more rounded pearls are indicative of saltwater cultured Akoya type and make up approximately 20% of the 220 white pearls. Including rounded pearls brings a lovely blending of the baroque shapes and a balance to the necklace. The pearls range from 4.5-7.5mm and are strung in a nested triple-strand formation of 15" 16" and 17".
