Carl John Zimmerman (Cincinnati, Ohio, 1900-1985) 20" x 30" oil on canvas of a winter scene. Signed lower right "Carl Zimmerman". Carl Zimmerman was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. He studied at the Herron School in Indiana, the Academy of Art in Chicago and the Art Academy of Cincinnati under Grooms, Weis and Wessel. He settled in Cincinnati and taught at the Cincinnati Art Academy. Cincinnati artist well known Cincinnati for his genre portraits and mural paintings. Well listed artist. Fine condition.
