Martin Rettig (Cincinnati, Ohio, 1869-1956) 17" x 14" oil on board still life painting. Signed lower right "M. Rettig". Martin Rettig studied with Frank Duveneck at the Cincinnati Art Academy. He was president of the Cincinnati Art Club from 1918-1920. He was a charter member and first president of the Connate Art Club. In 1883, he joined the staff of Rookwood Pottery. Well listed artist. Fine condition. EST. $400. - $800.
