An early work by Sexton, an important early Schenectady New York Portrait Artist whose works in the primitive style rarely come to market.

Condition report

Painting was black lit: there are all over small areas of inpainting & cracks, especially around her eyes. On her left shoulder just below the white of her scarf there is an inpainted repair (about 1 inch long). The piece has been relined.
