Two Netsuke Katabori Cat and Mouse Ivory,
cat crouches within a tubular basket that has a mouse on top, the cat can be pulled out from the basket but is tethered by a cord with a bead (not ivory), there is only one hole, fur on the animals as well as patterns on the basket are picked out in black, artist signed, good overall patina - 1.5" x 2" - no damage, one netsuke appears to have a replaced cord and is missing the terminal bead - This is mammoth ivory and was legally imported into the United States.
