from a tusk section, the exterior features a swaying grass plant while the interior has an architectural landscape inhabited by 18 robed figures, exquisite workmanship throughout. - 9.5" - Two old repairs to back corners leaving hairlines, 1/2" area of loss to the topmost landscape element, hairline on pagoda column, otherwise intact with only minimal age fractures, nice deep patina, fine condition overall. - This is mammoth ivory and was legally imported into the United States.
