Antique Japanese Ivory Blacksmith Okimono,
seated behind anvil with apprentice to his right, flat tray on ground before the figures, this scene is composed of three interlocking pieces and is signed on underside. - 2" x 2.5" - Head missing from smith's hammer, apprentice lacks implement, old patina, fine condition. - This is mammoth ivory and was legally imported into the United States.
