late period, the first carving depicts the happy god with a rat perched on his shoulder, fully decorated and artist signed,1.5"h; the second Hotei is playing with a child, artist signed, missing an element from below the left ear. 1.5"h, - This is mammoth ivory and was legally imported into the United States.
