George III Chest on Chest, Late 18th c.,
two part form, mahogany veneers and oak and pine secondary, top with dentil molded cornice over two over three drawers, base with two long drawers, all with applied cockbeading, canted corners with fluted quarter column, on bold ogee bracket feet 66.5" x 44" x 21" - repairs to cornice, replaced brasses, feet appear to be original, however they have been off and with all new glue blocks and braces.
