Early English Pewter Tappit Hen,
RARE, c.1760-1773, London, with Munden and Grove maker's mark consisting of WM above rose sprig and EG below, three additional touch marks, each above an "X", the tappit hen is a distinctive form of Scottish lidded flask. - 11" - lightly toned metal with only a very few trivial marks, good surfaces.
