Early Marked American Pewter Plate,
by Thomas Danforth Boardman (1784-1873), Hartford, Connecticut, ca. 1805-1820, underside carries two of his earliest marks, reading "Thomas D. Boardman" around an American eagle - 9"diameter - old scratches toned over, wear from normal use.
