Alfred Hutty (SC, 1877-1954), Pines Drawing,
graphite on paper, signed lower right "Alfred Hutty," depicting the wind blown Loblolly pines common throughout South Carolina and North Carolina, matted and framed under glass; Alfred Hutty was one of the founders and early proponents of the Charleston Renaissance during the 1920s and 1930s. Pine trees were a favorite subject of his and one that highlights his strong draftsmanship. - Not examined out of frame. - SS 13" x 11"; DOA 19.75" x 16.75"
