Sterling Tea Service, "Meadow Rose" by Watson,
five piece sterling silver tea and coffee service in the Meadow Rose pattern (# S220) by Watson Company of Attleboro, Massachusetts includes: coffee pot (10.5"), teapot, lidded sugar, creamer, and waste bowl; all pieces with attractive chased floral decoration, engraved leaf motif, and stippled detail, all bear engraved monogram "McN;" this pattern was patented in 1907 and is in current production by Wallace Silversmiths, the hallmarks date this service after 1910; this lot also includes a very nice silver plate double handled tray with bold acanthus scroll borders and well with engraved floral motif with open cartouche (27.5") - 95.75 total troy ozs. - Very fine estate condition - very minor light surface scratches, a few minor pittings, very light staining to bone spacers.
