Petrus van Schendel. (attributed to) (b. 1806-1870) Belgian. Girl Buying Vegetables at Night Market. Oil on panel. 6 ½ x 7 7/8 in. Signed with monogram lower right. (Remnants of gallery label and inventory mark on verso: "Charles Field Haseltine Art Gallery, 1125 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA". Historical records indicate Haseltine's gallery operated at this location circa 1876).

Condition

Some minor scattered paint loss to surface. Panel has professional old split repair.
