THREE OPAQUE GLASS CANDLESTICKS. American, mid 19th Century. Two matching pattern sticks, one in clambroth with a sanded finish, the other in opaque blue. Some base roughness and a couple of minor flakes. 6 7/8"h. And a clambroth columnar candlestick with petal socket. Form matches those made by Sandwich ,but there's no wafer. Base roughness and small burst potstone in one petal. 9 1/4"h.
Condition reportCondition: Clambroth has small flakes on corner socket and underside base. Blue has approx. 4-5 potstones near column base. Tall stick has tiny grey splotches that appear to be in the making - not removable. Descriptions provided in both printed and on-line catalogue formats do not include condition reports. The absence of a condition statement does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of aging.
