SANDWICH ACANTHUS CANDLESTICK. Massachusetts, ca. 1840-1865. Opaque blue glass socket and clambroth base joined by a collar like wafer under the socket. Lightly sanded finish. Acanthus leaf master size, 11"h. Some roughness on the base.

Condition: In the making imperfection or "pucker" in the top of the socket. The socket also has possible heat splits but in the inside surface only.
